Barry Matthies

High School Coach | Football

Coach Matthies is a 1987 graduate of West Central High School. He taught and coached at Geddes Community School for nine years prior to returning to his alma mater in 2002. He is entering his 32nd year of coaching Football and Basketball. Coach Matthies teaches K-3 Physical Education at Hartford Elementary School.

Coach Matthies and his wife, Ann, have two grown sons. Jacob and Heidi live in Rochester, MN. They have two children, Cecilia and Theo. Luke and Avery live in Omaha, NE and just had their first child, Amelia.
